"Ant-i-social"

Films: Phase IV (1974)

Alias: None

Type: Mutant

Location: Desert

Height/Weight: That of average ants.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil

Summary: Insects have ruled the world for millions of years. Even now, they outnumber every single other species. Only now do some recognize the scope of it all.

History: Something in the cosmos has boosted the intelligence of some ants in Arizona. They now operate on a level in which they build massive structures and can communicate with humans. But are they friend or foe? No one can be sure.

Notable Kills: One thinks they are evil. He is immediately buried in the ground by the ants after walking into a pitfall trap.

Final Fate: It is soon revealed that the ants don't plan on destroying humanity, but rather mold it into something agreeable to them. Only time will tell what exactly that means for us...

Powers/Abilities: Immune to toxins, great intelligence.

Weakness: Anything controversial.

Scariness Factor: 4-These ants take out enemies by trapping them, can infect computer systems by just crawling into them, and overall have a seemingly low stance on humans. Not a good combination.

Trivia: -Most ant footage was taken from the pseudo-documentary, "The Hellstrom Chronicle", which basically said that insects will outlive us in the future.

-The original ending was going to be a psychedelic acid trip of a climax meant to show the world under ant rule, but it was cut out.
